New Covid measures: Requirement to book for school consultation meeting

If you were planning to attend one of the two public consultation meetings in relation to Chillerton and Rookley Primary School, please note some important changes, which includes reserving your place at the meeting.

In light of the continuing number of positive Covid tests and concerns around the newly identified Omicron B variant, the following measures will now be implemented:

  • Meeting at Godshill Primary School (2nd December) will be restricted to a maximum capacity of 35 seated to allow the implementation of 1metre social distancing.
  • Meeting at Chillerton and Rookley School (9th December) will be restricted to a maximum capacity of 21 seated to allow the implementation of 1metre social distancing.
  • All attendees are required to undertake an LFT test prior to attending and should not attend if you receive a positive test result.
  • Ventilation by opening windows and doors; recommending all those attending to wear appropriate clothing.
  • Face coverings to be worn by staff and audience members unless exempt for medical reasons.
  • Where face coverings are not worn universally, then the audience are encouraged not to participate in any activity that can create aerosols, such as shouting.
  • Provision for hand washing/and or hand sanitizer.
