Residents to vote in parish, town and community council elections this May

Parish, town, and community council elections on the Isle of Wight will take place on 1st May 2025.

This comes despite the postponement of elections for the Isle of Wight council, which have been delayed until 2026.

Local elections to proceed as planned
The elections will allow residents to vote for representatives in their local parish, town and community councils. The role of a parish, town or community councillor is voluntary.

These councils play a crucial role in addressing local matters, from community projects to planning applications and public services.
