A Ventnor resident is offering a reward for the return of an artificial bay tree that holds sentimental value to her.
Sue Highcazony from Alpine Road was given the tree as a Christmas present by her children. She had planned to put it on her new terrace once it was finished and was very fond of the tree.
She tells us that it had been sitting in her porch, but recently it was mysteriously moved into the garden, where it was stolen from.
The tree is about six feet high and stands in a tall silver container. The leaves are made of material rather than plastic.
Sue told VB she was, “Really surprised, as there’s so little crime in Ventnor.”
If you know the whereabouts of the plant please get in touch with Sue who is totally gutted at the loss, by calling on 07840764145.
Alternatively, she says if it is returned to the inside her porch (39b Alpine Road, Ventnor) there will be no more will be said about it.
