Rhythmtree Festival: A diverse range of music all weekend

Rhythmtree Festival returns to the beautiful, tree surrounded farmland of Three Gates Farm, Calbourne today (Saturday) and tomorrow.

Whatever your taste in music, there is something for all among the diverse array of musical styles from any one of the four music stages; the Main Stage, Didge Café, Woodland Stage and Rumba Rum Bar.

Kid Creole and the Coconuts
Don’t miss Latino music legends Kid Creole and the Coconuts tonight, Electric Swing Circus, The African Blues Project, Phil Odgers, Skinny Lister, Yabba Funk, Omar Puente, to name but a few.

Island talent
There are also many Island bands and musicians playing across the three stages over the next two days including, Plastic Mermaids, Polar Maps, Cephalodidge, Spike Oakley, Furthermore, The Ohmz, Doug Alldred and many more.

Not just music
But it’s not just about the music! All the usual features will be there; a dedicated kid’s zone, healing area, a variety of workshops running throughout the weekend including laughter yoga, drum journeys, Shakti dance and much more.

Island brewed ales and other locally sourced food and drink to suit all tastes will be available across the site.

At this safe, friendly, family oriented festival you can fill your day with a variety of activities, or simply stretch out your picnic rugs, relax and enjoy quality music while your kids are entertained by the many activities available in the kids’ area.

All children’s activities are included in the ticket price, and include arts and crafts, Forest School workshops, circus skills with Ryde Extreme Performers and a dressing up tent, where kids will be able to make their own costumes for the kid’s parade on Sunday afternoon.

Magician Huxley Hunt will be performing all sorts of crazy magic, and there is even a dedicated toddler craft tent.

Tickets for the full weekend including camping cost £75 for an adult and £45 for a teen. Campervan tickets are available at £25 and must be bought in conjunction with a full weekend ticket.

Day tickets are available at a cost of £30 per day for an adult, or £15 for a teen. Children under 12 are free and can be bought on the gate.
