As mentioned earlier on VB, Saturday will see an Arts Parade take place in the town in the afternoon. As you’d expect there will be some road closures as a a result.
Westhill Road, Easthill Road, Esplanade, Dover Street, Park Road, Star Street, St Thomas Square, Union Street, Esplanade (Southern carriageway, Union Street to Dover Street), Esplanade, Easthill Road and Westhill Road will be closed for a short period between 3pm and approx 5.15pm on Saturday 30 June 2012 to allow the IOW Arts Parade to pass by.
The procession is due to leave from Simeon Street Recreation Ground at 3pm and will follow the above route.

Diversion Route
Through traffic will be diverted via: B3330 Alexandra Road, St Johns Hill, St Johns Road, Green Street, Argyll Street and Pellhurst Road.
Local traffic diversions will be signposted.
Motorists should note that additional traffic delays will occur in the Ryde area during the Parade.
