Earlier in the week we reported on the passing of Rob Mew last week.
We heard subsequently that one of his last actions before he died was to dictate his letter of resignation from Ventnor Town Council.
We were told that he did it with a “very heavy heart,” feeling that he could not continue to serve on the Town Council, agreeing with the three town councillors who had resigned earlier that week.
