OnTheWight were tweeting live from the Special Cabinet meeting that was held at County Hall tonight.
The meeting was called to consider and vote on a recommendation to award two contracts, valued at approximately £1.6m, to Royal Haskoning DHV as part of the Solent Ocean Energy Centre project.
Although the overall contract value is approximately £1.6m, the Isle of Wight council’s contribution is likely to be around £376,350 (see paras 30 and 41 in paper below).
