Over the weekend residents in Sandown and Yaverland had their usual view of tankers parked up in the bay, but residents in Bembridge and St Helens had a superyacht treat.
This beauty (or beast depending on your view), is owned by Russian billionaire, Andrey Melnichenko and arrived just off the Isle of Wight at around 5.30am on Sunday morning.
The motor yacht is designed by Philippe Starck, who has been commissioned to design Sailing Yacht A, an equally extraordinary looking vessel.
It’s a whopping 118m in length, can accommodate a crew of 37 and 14 guests and if the sea isn’t inviting enough for those on board, there is a choice of three swimming pools.
For sale
The boat has been up for sale for several months, first being reported for sale by the Daily Mail back in April this year.
If you have a spare £225m down the back of the sofa, it could be yours.
Our thanks to Sienna Anderson from Soul Photography for sharing this great shots of the superyacht.

The motor yacht was recently spotted moored next to D-Day warship HMS Belfast on the River Thames, making the warship look somewhat reduced in size (see photos)
If you fancy a look inside, check out this video by the Wall Street Journal from 2012. It’s quite extraordinary.
The boat is now moored off the coast of France, north of Caen, near Le Havre, the Marine Traffic Website tells us.
