Congratulations are in order for Ryde’s French cafe, Crepe Lovers, which this week were proud to announce they’d been re-inspected by the council’s Environmental Health officer and achieved a five-star rating for food and hygiene standards.
Earlier this year Crepe Lovers – which was a relatively new business at the time – incorrectly received a one-star rating.
Crepe Lovers owner, Emanuel Ribeiro, told News OnTheWight in April that the error had caused a great deal of reputational damage to the business and felt sure that when the cafe was re-inspected it would receive a five-star rating.
On hearing the news, Emanuel said,
“A big thank you to our team who work hard every day to make sure everything is kept to the very highest standards for our customers.”
Crepe Lovers by Night
From this evening (Saturday 16th July) Crepe Lovers will be launching Lovers By Night. From 6pm-8pm they’ll be putting their regular menu away and only having the tapas and cocktails menu (don’t worry, they’ll still be serving soft drinks and coffees).
This evening there’ll also be love music from Tommy Burnhams.
Three cheers for all at Crepe Lovers for achieving a food and hygiene rating of five.
See their social media page for more details.
