The sun is shining, the skies are blue and in no time at all, Carnival season will be upon us again.
Every year all major towns around the Island take part in the Carnival season on the Wight and it can be a costly business for the associations taking part.
Next month the Ryde Carnival Association are hoping to kick starts their fund raising with an 80s and 90s dance night.
Being held at the popular Ryde Castle Hotel venue on Saturday 11th April, tickets are priced at just £5.00 each.
Fancy Dress is optional but there will be prizes for and a fund raising raffle.
Tickets can be bought from various venues in Ryde, including The Bagel Wrap, Glad Rag and Fired Art.
Kicks off at 7.30pm and you’ll need to order your pumpkins for midnight.
