Ryde Harriers announce details for Boxing Day run

Last week saw the latest run in the Winter series which was a 5k handicap. First was Pete Still in a time of 21.21 with a handicap of 2.59. In second place was Stephen Lee in 24.53 off a handicap of 6.30 and third was Rowland Sillito in 21.20 off a handicap of 2.49 and fastest man on the night was Tom Blackwell in 19.11.

In the ladies race first home in a time of 20.19 off a handicap of 1.33 was Sarah Kavanagh and she was also fastest lady on the night. In second place was Mandy Womack in 22.07 off a handicap of 2.51 and in third place was Julie King in a time of 22.06 off a handicap of 2.46.

Boxing Day run
On Boxing day the annual 5.5 mile nominated run will start at 11am from Ryde Rowing Club.

A gift to the value of £3 should be placed on the table with the nearest person to their nomination taking first choice.
