The Ryde Harriers winter series kick started with a five mile scratch race and first home was new member Paul Cooke in 31.54.
Second was Tom Blackwell 35.09 and third was Simon Newman 36.14.
First lady back was Sarah Kavanagh in 37.38, second was Lindsey Brazier in 40.08 and third was Sally Roberts in 40.42.
Twenty six members took part in the first of this series and any guest runners are welcome to come along and join in 7.30pm at Ryde Rowing Club on Tuesday evenings.
