Sandown and Shanklin Independent Lifeboat volunteers sent the following to us this morning.

Somewhere between 6pm Friday to 9am Saturday an attempted break-in to the Sandown & Shanklin lifeboat station.
No one got in, but an estimated £900 in damage was caused to the doors.
The alarm didn’t go off as no-one got in. Police were informed and reports made.
