Saturday sewing – drop in and make a tote bag: Isle of Wight Biosphere Festival 2024 (Free)

As part of the first Isle of Wight Biosphere Festival, Ryde Library are hosting a free Saturday sewing session.

Come along and make a tote bag between 10am – 4pm. Drop in anytime, no booking is required.

Suitable for age 12+ accompanied by an adult.

Where and when
Saturday sewing – drop in and make a tote bag takes place at Ryde Library, 101 George Street, Ryde, PO33 2JE on Saturday 29th June between 10am and 4pm.

All children to be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Brilliant idea, all councils should opt for this, better to see a full bus than an empty one.

It doesn’t need to be £1 – just affordable, unlike Southern Vectis’ non-subsidised fares. Likewise, the Concessionary Bus Pass scheme is brilliant but I suspect almost all users would willingly pay something towards each journey, reducng the burden on the local Council and thus on other residents.
