The Save Vestas Campaign continues to raise awareness and support tonight as some of the ex-workers take part in the Sandown Carnival.
The Save Vestas campaign will be making a guest appearance in the Sandown illuminated carnival from 9pm.
They tell us that they’ve built an 8ft tall wind turbine with rotating blades which will be sitting gracefully on the back of a trailer, whist others walking alongside helping to spread the word.
Thanks to Tony Kelly for sending through this photo he took of eight turbines in a group of about 50 or 60 windmills off the North Welsh coast.
