The Ventnor Winter Gardens, the iconic venue in Ventnor is now listed with Savills.
A venue with history
Back in June, the owner of the Ventnor Winter Gardens (VWG), Kevin Sussmilch, has told a member of the VWG Steering Group that he has instructed Savills Estate Agents in relation to the sale, or lease, of the iconic Ventnor venue that has stood closed for several years.
The premises, listed as a rental, is described as “substantial” and arranged over five levels.
The listing points out that although the property is not listed, is sits within the Ventnor Conservation Area.

It goes on to state,
The property is currently utilised for leisure and entertainment purposes and offers potential for continued leisure use or alternative commercial and leisure uses, subject to obtaining the necessary planning consents
Any one interested in leasing the property should know that offers are invited for the property as a whole, or “offers in part”.

Moving onto fixtures and fittings, the listing states that the property will be “let in its current condition”. This includes fixtures and fittings (less branded and leased items).
