The Saturday before Christmas, sailors, windsurfers, foilers, swimmers, stand-up paddleboarders and kayakers are invited to join a protest against Southern Water’s illegal dumping of raw sewage in our seas.
Following on from the successful campaign last month in Sandown, organisers are calling on Islanders to show their support from the beach by taking along banners and your voices.
Where and when
The protest takes place on Saturday 18th December from midday at Gurnard Beach, Isle of Wight.
Organisers remind people their are responsible for their own safety and Covid social distancing rules should be followed.
If the weather is too rough, the event will be shifted to Sunday 19th December.
Check on the social media event page to stay up to date of any changes.
