Island-based promoters Vaguely Sunny are supporting the return of leading Scottish harpist, Pippa Reid-Foster, at this year’s Ventnor Fringe Festival.
Pippa previously performed at the 2022 Fringe as part of a duo with Finnish musician Eva Alkula, earning a warm reception from local audiences.
Two evening concerts at the Fringe
This year, she returns to the Island with two solo concerts on Tuesday 22nd and Wednesday 23rd July at St Catherine’s Church, Church Street. Both begin at 7.30pm and promise an hour of captivating music for harp.
A new suite
The concerts, titled Undercurrents, explore themes of resilience and recovery.
Pippa will perform a new suite, her own original pieces, and arrangements of works by contemporary composers including Philip Glass, Max Richter and Ludovico Einaudi.

Booking details
The performances will feature both pedal and lever harps, offering audiences a chance to experience the full range of her musical expression in an intimate setting.
Tickets cost £14.50 (2for1 culture pass on 22nd July) and are available via the Ventnor Fringe Box Office online by calling 01983 716767, or in person from Ventnor Exchange at 11 Church Street, Ventnor.
