Freshwater Post Office, situated inside Southern Cooperative, will be temporarily closed from Saturday 5th February at 5.30pm for a major refurbishment of the store.
The refit is due to take approximately seven weeks and the branch at Afton Road, Freshwater, Isle of Wight, PO40 9UH, is due to reopen on Thursday 24th March at 1pm.
During the refit customers alternative Post Offices include:
- Totland Bay Post Office, The Broadway Inn, Broadway, Totland Bay, PO39 0BL
- Yarmouth Post Office, Quay Street, Yarmouth, PO41 0PD
- Brighstone Post Office, Main Road, Brighstone, Newport, PO30 4AH
Damien Haydock, Post Office Partner Account Manager, said,
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers during the work.
“The safety of our customers is of paramount, therefore, to allow for the refurbishment work to take place, it will be necessary for the service to close temporarily.”
