Shanklin Rotary Club has announced its Annual Sale has returned for another year of bargains and fundraising, having opened today (Tuesday 13th January 2026).
This year, the sale is operating from a new venue within Sandown Airport: located at Ability Dogs for Young People and Wight Aviation Museum on Scotchells Brook Lane, Lake PO36 0JP.

Sale dates and times
The event runs from 10am to 4pm between Tuesday 13th January and Saturday 17th January. There’s a short break for restocking and giving volunteers a rest, then the sale resumes from Tuesday 20th January until Saturday 24th January 2026.

The organisers will close the sale at 1pm on the final day, 24th January.
Visitors can pay by cash or card, and refreshments will be available on site.
What donations are needed
The club is accepting donations of good quality furniture, clothing, crockery, cutlery, toys, pictures, DVDs, books, bric-a-brac, jewellery, hardware, linen, electrical items, sporting equipment, gardening equipment and camping equipment.

Anyone wishing to donate items can contact the collection team on 07498 522 826.
The phone line will operate on sale days, mainly during the first week.
They cannot accept large items of furniture, beds, old mattresses or old duvets, used helmets, broken electricals, damaged goods, old CRT TVs, TV stands, videos, white goods, magazines, golf bags or computer printers.

Free entry and parking
The sale offers free entry and free parking to all visitors.
More than 50 volunteers helped make last year’s sale a success and many are on hand this year too – so well done to all of them.

Supporting local causes
The event takes place each year to help raise money for charities and community groups. Last year’s event raised more than £28,000.
The Rotary Club distributed the funds locally, with a small percentage allocated to emergency relief efforts abroad.
The club ensures this longstanding tradition extends its positive impact beyond the Isle of Wight.
