Shanklin Rotary’s Annual Sale of 2026 has raised a whopping £29,400 so far, an increase on 2025’s total.
The club has expressed their sincere gratitude for the successful outcome of the fundraising event.
New split venue at Sandown Airport
Ability Dogs for Young People and Wight Aviation Museum were generous enough to host the sale at a new split venue at Sandown Airport.
Donors, van collectors and volunteer sellers adapted to the new premises despite cold, wet and windy conditions.
The club praised these supporters for delivering a very welcome result.
Well done also to Shanklin Men in Sheds who assisted in setting up, PAT Testing, car park management, manning sales counters and clearing up after event.
Funds to support local and international causes
The organisers will distribute the funds mostly within the community.
A small percentage will support Rotary International’s work in troubled areas throughout the world.
The annual Shanklin Rotary Sale raised an impressive £28,000 in 2025.
