We all know that the Isle of Wight is bursting at the seams with creative and talented people, so we expect news of the launch of a script writing competition should prick up the ears of many of our readers.
The Wight Film Network have just launched a short script competition and invite all budding writers to try their hand at writing a short film script on any theme, any genre.
The script should be for a film or up to 10 minutes and you have until 28th February 2010 to get your entries in.
Obviously this must be your own work, unpublished and to have not wob an award in any other comps.
It’ll cost you just a fiver to enter and there are two categories, 18 and under and adults.
For full details of terms and conditions check out the official Wight Film Network Website.
As usual, don’t forget to say where you heard about it.
