Kris Birkin and Slombers Woke at the Kashmir Tent

Slingshot Records Presents Slombers Woke and Kris Birkin at Ventnor Fringe Festival

Slingshot Records presents two Isle of Wight favourites on Friday 30th July as part of Ventnor Fringe Festival.

Folk rock band Slombers Woke return for a live performance hot on the heels of their album release, Somewhen. Whilst Kris Birkin with his Fallen Riders.

Slombers Woke
Slombers Woke are John Sharman (guitars and vocals), Paddy Cullen (vocals), Dave Holley (bass), Kevin Wright (guitars) and Rob Thompson (drums).

Drawing on the British song-writing tradition, the band’s songs explore such diverse issues from bereavement, to revenge in ice skating!

Erudite lyrics and strong arrangements provide the crafted backdrop over which Paddy Cullen’s rasping vocals soar.

Kris Birkin
Kris will already be known to many as the formerly guitarist with The Bees.

Performing with The Fallen Riders, Kris will be offering his original material taking the audience on a journey with his hooky, guitar riffed tunes.
