Snap Fitness Isle of Wight triumphs with Customer Service Award win

Last updated:

Popular local gym Snap Fitness Isle of Wight has reason to celebrate after being named as a winner at the National Fitness Awards.

The gym fought off competition from across the UK to win the Customer Service Award, being recognised for the exceptional service and experience that it provides its members.

A win and a shortlisting
The awards, now in their 14th year, were judged by a panel of fitness experts. Snap Fitness Isle of Wight were crowned winners following a judging process which included a questionnaire to members and then an in-person visit to the gym to interview members and the team. They were also shortlist finalists in another category this year, Community Involvement.

The awards were presented at a glittering awards night in Leicester and the team were over the moon they were announced as winners.

Coles: We couldn’t be prouder as a team
Victoria Coles, Club Manager at Snap Fitness Isle of Wight, said,

“Honestly, we couldn’t be prouder as a team.

“It feels amazing to be recognised for all the hard work and effort that we put into the club, to ensure each and everyone who comes to the club feels welcome and supported.

“It was such an incredible night, and our little gym on the island is shining brightly! We really are one family here and it feels great to bring home the trophy to celebrate with our members.”

The team pride themselves on the friendly and welcoming atmosphere they’ve created in their gym, which is also reflected by their average Google Review score of 4.9 from over 350 reviews.

Musgrave: A great celebration of the fitness industry
National Fitness Awards’ director Dominic Musgrave said,

“This year’s winners should be very proud – the high standard of entries made it a tough job to select a final shortlist never mind a winner and runner-up in each category.

“Our awards’ night was a great celebration of the fitness industry as a whole and it was great to see so many gyms represented at the event. It was a wonderful evening and it was lovely to share in the celebrations of the winners.”

Awards were handed out in more than 20 categories at a glittering ceremony at The Athena in Leicester, attended by more than 800 people and hosted by one of Britain’s most famous athletes, Derek Redmond.
