This coming Saturday evening (19th April 2025) at 8.30pm will see Sandown Carnival’s Easter Fireworks Eggstravaganza launched from the end of the pier.
Spectators are advised to arrive in time to claim a good spot in safe viewing areas along the town’s Esplanade and seafront.
The Carnival, a non-profit community group, charges no entry fee, but donations are invited on the day or via the website where further details and travel advice can be found.

Sandown Carnival Chair, Paul Coueslant, says,
“In partnership with Sandown Pier, we’re delighted to have re-arranged the spectacular display we had to postpone on New Year’s Day because of the weather.
“Easter Saturday provides the perfect holiday opportunity to visit Sandown and round off the day witnessing one the Island’s favourite fireworks events.
“We can’t wait to see everyone.”
