This morning sees the launch of the St Helens Church Flower Festival, ‘Summer by the Sea’.
From 10am, for an entrance fee of just £3, you can take in the delights of the Flower Festival at St Helens Church.
The event which runs until Sunday (check listing for opening times) is in aid of the Church Restoration Fund
Music events too
There will be refreshments and stalls, so make sure you take a little extra cash with you, in case something catches your eye.
On a wet and windy day like today, what a great place to escape to.
As part of the Festival there is also a concert at the Church on Saturday 9th entitled “Music for a Summer Evening” by ‘The Malibar Family and Friends. Tickets for the concert are £3.00.
On Sunday evening there will be ‘Songs of Praise’ at The Church at 6pm.
