Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance will be hosting a family fun day at Sandown Airport on the Isle of Wight on Saturday 17th September and is looking for a variety of stall holders to join the charity on the day.
A first for HIOWAA, the Fun Day promises to be a day to remember for all the family. As well as face painting, kids’ activities, a vintage fun fair, BBQ and more, there will also be an opportunity to meet representatives from other emergency services and appearances from the HIOWAA mascots; Teddy Medic, Pilot Paws and Herocopter.
HIOWAA Head of Income Generation Rachel Leaman commented,
“Our Fun Day is an opportunity, not only to raise vital funds to keep the Air Ambulance flying and saving lives, but also to spread the word about our life saving work.
“We have been really pleased with the response that we have had from the local community and we are hoping that the Fun Day will become an annual event in our fundraising calendar.”
