Close up of a synthesizer

Synth heaven awaits at Ventnor Exchange: Explore rare gems and groundbreaking sounds of yesteryear

On Saturday 6th May, Ventnor Exchange is hosting an interactive display of synthesizers from the late 1960s to the 1980s.

It’s the brainchild of James Thorpe of Ventnor’s Red Squirrel Productions – the former studio of The Bees – and home to recording for a plethora of artists including OTW faves, CHAMPS, and Greg Foat.

Pop along to the Exchange between 10am and 3pm to check out James’s amazing collection of synths, including the Russian synth which can be heard playing in reverse on Adeleine, the sixth track on the new CHAMPS LP.
