Thanks to Linda for sharing details of this lovely project to gather your thoughts, photos, poems, pictures or even songs about trees to display at Ryde Library.
Is there a tree that’s special to you (past or present)? Perhaps you pass it on the corner of your road, or collect conkers from it in the Autumn, maybe you just enjoy its shade in summer.
Tell the tree how you feel about it by sending in any of the following:- photo of the tree, letter , poem, picture, or song
Please include the following: Location of the tree, your name (optional), your contact details (optional).
Send them/hand them in to Ryde Library 101 George Street, Ryde PO33 2JE, in an envelope marked ‘Dear Tree’ project. Or submit them online @ [email protected] Closing date for entries 16th July 2012 (please note we are unable to return items sent in).

The project will be on display from the 23rd July in Ryde library.
