Sky Divers:

Well done to all who took part. This in from St Catherine’s. Ed

On Sunday 5th May, six brave individuals took part in a sponsored skydive to support Ventnor-based charity St Catherine’s, which supports children and young people with speech, language and communication needs.

Taking to the sky to raise money for the charity were Heidy Sullivan, Glen Burden, Dean Ottley, Noora Abbasi, Andy Ball and Johnathon Wood.

Jumped from either 10,000 or 15,000 feet
The participants travelled to Old Sarum Airfield in Salisbury for their challenge, where they jumped from either 10,000 or 15,000 feet.

Hannah Davison, Fundraising and Marketing Assistant at St Catherine’s said,

“A big thank you to Heidy, Glen, Dean, Noora, Andy and Johnathon, as well as everyone that has sponsored them. Over £3,000 has been raised so far and money is still coming in which is absolutely brilliant. The money raised will go towards the important work that is done at St Catherine’s to support young people from across the UK with a range of complex needs linked to communication.”

St Catherine’s holds a number of challenge events throughout the year.
