The trial for a 16-year-old boy from the Isle of Wight is due to start at Kingston Crown Court on Monday (15th January 2024).
The teenager was arrested on 11th July 2022 and charged on 17th July 2022 with preparation of terrorist acts under Section 5 of the Terrorism Act 2006.
On 4th November 2022 he was further charged with three counts of dissemination of a terrorist publications under Section 2 of the Terrorism Act 2006 and having an article with a blade or point in a public place, contrary to Section 139 of the Criminal Justice Act 1988.
