If you’re a fan of Tennyson’s work, make sure you tune into BBCR4 at 2.15pm today (Tuesday).
The afternoon play is an adaptation of Tennyson’s long sequence of poems of grief and hope written after the death of his close friend, Arthur Hallam.
It will be performed by David Bamber with music by Jon Nicholls.
