Parked in front of St Catherine’s Church, the beautifully restored vehicle has become a much-loved feature of the festival.

Curated collection of books
Inside The Book Bus, visitors will discover a collection of books carefully curated by Jen and Tom, ranging from rare and hard-to-find editions to well-loved paperbacks.

Tucked between its worn original seats, Art Deco sconces and vintage route maps, the selection includes titles on travel, nature, history, art, plays and poetry.

Live performances and a Book Market
The Fringe Square will host free entertainment throughout the festival. Check the Free Fringe section of the website to find out more.

Of special mention is that on Saturday 26th July, Cara Goodrem will be performing on The Book Bus at 10am, followed by the always popular storytime with Neal Layton at 11am.

The Book Market will also return, featuring stalls from Medina Bookshop and other independent booksellers, adding to the literary atmosphere in the Fringe Square.

When to visit
The Book Bus will be open from 10am to 5pm each day from Wednesday 24th to Saturday 26th July.

Pop along to see what you can pick up, and don’t forget to search for the baby Book Bus whilst you are there.
