Three Rivers Music Festival opens today at Durrants Farm in Porchfield

The time has arrived, today (Friday) sees the start of the Three Rivers Music Festival.

Founded in 2024 and starting out as a reggae festival, Three Rivers (which is named after the three main rivers on the Island and symbolises the Island community coming together) is developing into one of the Isle of Wight’s most anticipated independent festivals.

The festival is being held at Durrants Farm in Porchfield from Friday 29th to Sunday 31st May.

Expanding beyond reggae, the schedule across three stages has evolved to keep its grassroots ethos at heart: supporting emerging artists, introducing larger culturally diverse acts to the Island, and fostering a sense of community pride that runs through every aspect of the event.

Main stage acts
The Main Stage will feature headline acts including Dub Pistols, The Undercover Hippy, Mungo’s Hi-Fi featuring Aziza Jaye, Born ina Barn, Fulu, Mista Trick Collective, The Ohmz, Fellowship of Groove and many more.

See the Three Rivers Website for more info.

Nipper’s Corner
Family-friendly programming remains central to the festival’s ethos.

Nipper’s Corner, the dedicated children’s area created in partnership with New Carnival Company, will offer creative play, workshops and a children’s carnival on Sunday morning.

Living-history reenactment
Living-history group Whitwara will also be on site, hosting a reenactment area and tournament on Saturday morning.

Community Village
The Community Village will host local traders, charities and craft stalls, alongside the Local Bands Stage with a special takeover from Ryde-based charity Aspire.

The Woodland Stage, set in a woodland dell, will feature evening takeovers from Shack Promotions, Beats on Tap and Pressure, plus daytime spoken-word sessions and open-mic performances.

Wellness area
A Zen Den wellness area will offer yoga, breathwork, sound baths and meditation, while a curated selection of food traders and varied camping options, including campervans and luxury glamping, complete the experience.
