Thrillseeker Campaign Helps Families Get Active

A new scheme which runs until 22 March is hoping to encourage families back into the swimming pool.

The ‘ThrillSeeker’ campaign is being run by the BBC and adults will get a free swim when a a child pays to swim.

Of course, Island children can swim for free during the holidays which are coming up in Mid February and this offer will be valid then as well.

There are three pools on the Island where adults can swim for free as part of the scheme.

Medina Leisure Centre on Monday – Friday during advertised public sessions.

The Heights in Sandown, it is available between 1445 – 1600 on Monday – Wednesday, 1400 – 1600 on Thursday and 1300 – 1600 on Fridays.

Waterside Pool in Ryde, it is available between 1500 – 1600 only on Monday – Sunday.
