Isle of Wight production company Somewhen Productions are hosting the premiere of their sitcom S-Band on Friday 17th of April, shot entirely on the Isle of Wight using local people, local locations and all for under £400.
Written and directed by Hannah George, a local television writer who has written for CBBC, Sky1, Nickelodeon and Radio 4, S-Band is set in a school tells the story of a try-hard teacher and his less than enthusiastic students.
Where and when
The premiere takes place at the VI Form Campus Main Hall, Upper St. James Street, Newport, Isle of Wight, PO30 1LJ on Friday 17th April. Doors open at 7.30pm with the screening starting at 8pm.
The screening contains some strong language and is not suitable for under 16s.

There’s no dress code and a bar will be available (it’s cash only and please bring ID).
