We’ve had a few more photos of Tornadoes sent into us by VB readers after yesterday’s Tornado over the West Wight.
Seen from Hurst Spit too
Simon Johnson sent in a photo taken after 3pm yesterday while he was out walking his dog on Hurst Spit.
He described it as, “an amazing sight. It lasted at least 15 minutes until it disbanded over the Solent.”
One back in May
Back in May this year, while capturing a rather lovely image of some fossil coral in Atherfield Bay, Ashley Cooper caught the Tornado in the upper left half of the photo without realising it at the time.
Only when sharing the photo with his friends on Facebook did his eagled-eyed mate John James point out to him that the Tornado was there.
Any more photos?
We’ve already had a pretty good haul of photos considering the brevity of the Tornado, but on the off chance, did anyone else see it? Get more photos of it?
A few Tornadoes around
There’s quite a few of these bleeders around the county at the moment.
An RAF crew filmed one on Monday near Anglesey.
