Congratulations are in order for two Isle of Wight restaurants today.
The Terrace in Yarmouth and The Hambrough in Ventnor have been added to the latest Michelin Guide Great Britain and Ireland.
Michelin say the announcement comes ahead of their annual launch ceremony, when the new Michelin Stars, Bib Gourmands and Green Stars will be unveiled.
Six Isle of Wight entries
The two restaurants join four others; Thompson’s (Newport), Aquitania (Seaview Hotel), The Conservatory (George Hotel, Yarmouth) and The Hut (Colwell).
The Terrace Rooms, Ventnor
Work is well underway by Tom Fahey from The Terrace on his new venture over in Ventnor at the former St Augustine Hotel on Shore Hill (Ventnor Cascade).
The new boutique hotel and restaurant is set to reopen in Spring 2022.
