Unleashing adventure: FOCAS FEST mixes science, conservation and fun

If your kids love the natural world, science or simply love the great outdoors then FOCAS FEST is definitely not to be missed.

This new festival provides a fantastic opportunity for kids to immerse themselves in the world of wonder.

Bringing conservation and science to life
The Wildheart Animal Sanctuary together with the Wonderseekers charity (Winchester Science Museum) and a collection of over 20 interactive exhibitors will be bringing conservation and the science behind it to life in a really fun and imaginative way.

This will be coupled with fabulous animal talks, encounters and some exciting live demonstrations.

What to expect
Join them on Saturday 1st July to enjoy some of the fun they have lined up for you:

  • Find our how to help rescue a beached dolphin
  • Learn how to make a bug hotel, plant seagrass and make wool
  • Explore the old and new worlds of dinosaurs and underwater robots
  • Learn more about our natural world, hedgehogs, birds, bugs and bats
  • Step into the secret and scientific world of Gases
  • Explore the skies with telescopes
  • Meet swimmer and ocean activist, Oly Rush and his Plesiosaur

And most importantly, find ways you can help save our wildlife and our planet

£2.50 entrance
The aim of FOCAS FEST is to make science and conservation accessible to all, so tickets are just £2.50 per person.

You will need to book your tickets online for either the morning or afternoon session.

  • Morning session – 9:30am to 1pm
  • Afternoon session – 1:30pm to 5pm
