Last updated:

Three Rivers Music Festival is giving up-and-coming local DJs the chance to step into the spotlight this summer, with an exciting community outreach competition offering three talented DJs the opportunity to perform on the Woodland Stage at this year’s festival.

The initiative is designed to champion grassroots talent from across the Isle of Wight, creating a platform for the next generation of DJs to showcase their sound in front of a live festival audience.

Who can apply to take part
To enter, applicants must be aged 16 or over and submit a 15-minute mix demonstrating their style and technical ability.

Entrants must also be available to perform at the final on 4th April at Quay Arts, as well as at the festival itself, taking place from 29th-31st May.

The judging panel
The final will see shortlisted DJs perform in front of a judging panel made up of respected Island promoters Beats on Tap, Pressure and Shack – key figures in the local music scene who are passionate about nurturing emerging talent.

Free tickets for friends or family
In addition to securing a coveted festival slot, the three winners will each receive two guest list tickets, allowing friends or family to attend and support them during their Woodland Stage performance.
