Police can confirm they are continuing to investigate a report of musical instruments and equipment being stolen from a car parked on Gunville Road in Newport on the Isle of Wight.
The theft was reported to police just after 9am on Tuesday, July 17, 2012. It’s believed the parked Peugeot 306 was broken into sometime after 5pm on Monday, July 16, 2012.
Officers are pursuing several lines of enquiry.

Witnesses to suspicious behaviour in Gunville Road on Monday night / Tuesday morning or anyone with information about stolen musical equipment are asked to contact Newport police station by phoning 101.
