The deadline for submitting entries for the Vectis Radio Community Awards 2025 is coming up fast.
Entry forms need to be in by Midnight this Friday 24th January.

The awards are to honour, celebrate and promote the great work that community and charity organisations do on the Isle of Wight and will be held on Friday 28th March at Caffe Isola in Newport.
Nominations are free and can be made by anyone, including self-nomination.
Eight categories
There are eight categories including those for organisations and those for individuals who have
stood out in fundraising or as a volunteer.
These are:
- Community Project Of The Year
- New Community Project/Organisation Of The Year
- Most Inspirational Person in the Community
- Animal Focused Community Project/ Organisation Of The Year
- People Focused Community Project/Organisation Of The Year
- Island Based International Project/Organisation Of The Year
- Charity Fund raiser Of The Year
- Volunteer Of The Year
Nominating is simple, to get an entry form email [email protected] stating which category or
categories you want forms for. The forms will be sent by return, then complete them and send
back by email.
Event organiser Maggie Currie said,
“We have received a goodly number of entries and the panel of independent judges are itching to get started on their deliberations. Don’t wait, nominate now!”
She added,
“We are incredibly grateful to Caffe Isola for sponsoring this event.”
