Ventnor Carnival will host Christmas in Ventnor on Saturday 13th December 2025, bringing a Victorian and Steampunk theme to the town’s festive celebrations.
The organisers aim to bring the community together for a day of festive fun.
Visitors can explore Ventnor’s independent shops, which offer unusual and interesting Christmas presents for all the family, with late night shopping continuing until 7pm.
Activities throughout the day
Christmas in Ventnor features a Santa’s Grotto, a Carnival Hub, and a treasure hunt running from 10.30am to 4pm.
The Santa Dash will take place on the beach at 1pm.
Characters will appear around the town throughout the day.
The Better Days Choir will perform in Spring Hill Gardens from 2pm to 4pm.
St Catherine’s School Christmas Market
St Catherine’s School will host a Christmas Market at St Catherine’s Church, featuring local sellers, live music, and special guests.
The CK Singers will provide live music from 10.30am to 11.30am, followed by Jimi Cameron from 11.45am to 12.45pm.
Amy Jolliffe will perform from 1pm to 2pm, with Tylor Dean taking the stage from 2pm to 3pm.
The Gift Elf will visit from 10.30am to 12pm and again from 1pm to 2pm.
Children can meet Spiderman between 11am and 12pm, and Elsa will visit from 11.30am to 12.30pm.
The organisers will draw the Christmas raffle at 3.15pm, with the market closing at 4pm.
Evening celebrations
A lantern parade will wind through the town from 5.30pm and the day will conclude with carols in St Catherine’s Church Community Garden at 6pm.
If you can, do please make the effort to head into Ventnor and support the independent shops and community. The town has suffered with countless road closures over the past couple of years and could do with the support.
There will be access to Ventnor via Whitwell, Wroxall and Shanklin.
