All the activities taking place at the Ventnor Brewery this coming weekend are part of the Annual Ventnor Christmas Fun Shopping Day.
We’re all hoping for much better weather this year, as last year saw torrential rain and winds.
Throughout the day there will be tons of activities taking place around the town.

If you fancy making a lantern to take part in the Ventnor Lantern Parade on the 18th, head over to The Baptist Church in Pier Street between 11am – 3pm. There will also be stalls at the church selling Christmas crafts.
On the entertainment front, the infamous Ventnor Comic Jazz Band will starting at The Volunteer and making their way through town (we wonder if they’ll shock shoppers in the supermarket again this year).
But that’s not all, there’ll also be Hand Bell Ringers, Morris Dancing, Matt Splatt and his Circus, Stilt Walkers, Ivan the Crazy Clown making balloon animals.
If you fancy some hot chestnuts, then seek out The Rotary Club and don’t forget a visit to Santa’s grotto.
All that and a chance to win some fantastic prizes such as a family hamper worth over £130, meat hamper and cheese hamper (supplied by The Island Deli) and lots of other festive prizes. The draw takes place at the Baptist Church at 2.30pm.
