A sit-down, a view and a nice cup of tea. All that the British need for a good holiday, according to Victoria Wood.
Well you can get all three and more every Saturday morning at Ventnor Community Cafe.
It’s run by volunteers, and you can drop in for delicious home-made cakes and tea or real coffee, all at excellent prices.
And in the room at the back there’s now a weekly produce sale, organised by the Ventnor Permaculture group.
You can buy veg, home-made cakes, home-made jam, and plants.
So come along – the cafe is in Albert Street, on the corner with Pound Lane, and open every Saturday morning 10.30am to 1pm.
