Ventnor In Touch project ends the year on a high

Evelyn shares this latest news from Ventnor In Touch, the Friends of the Library’s tablet computer project. Ed

The Friends have been delighted by the reception given to their newest project in the library.

The help sessions for 2016 are now complete and will resume at Ventnor Library in January 2017. If you have been along to any of them we hope you have found them useful.

The Friends are grateful to Age UK’s Digital Inclusion IT tutor Daniel Taylor and his volunteer assistant, Jill, and to the Library staff for their assistance with organisation and implementation.

2017 sessions
Details for 2017 will be published soon in the South Wight Chronicle and on posters in local shops.

Information may also be obtained by telephoning the Library on 852039 or contacting the Friends on [email protected] in the New Year.

Practice your new skills
In the meantime, if you wish to practice your skills, the Friends’ tablet computers are available to use whenever the Library is open; limited help is available from Library staff.

There is no charge for any Ventnor In Touch activity, but donations towards the Friends’ running costs would be appreciated; there are two collection boxes at the library.
