In direct relation to the StreetStyle Project, Linda Gorman, Ventnor Youth and Community Centre Manager and Secretary of the Skateboard Park Club is putting a call out to anyone who might be interested in the future of the skate ramp. Whether you use it, your kids use it, or you think it is an important asset to Ventnor.
If you have walked along the seafront lately, then you will know that the skateboard park needs some repair work carried out urgently.
A meeting is to be held on Friday 16th February, 7.30pm, at Ventnor Community Projects, 1 Albert Street, Ventnor, to discuss the future of the skateboard park and how the community can help the young people of Ventnor.
The meeting is open to all so please come along and see how you can help — whether you are a skater yourself or someone interested in getting the skateboard park up and running again. If you miss the meeting, then you can still get involved — help will be needed with fundraising and with the actual repair work.
