Although the last six workers have now left the Vestas plant in Newport, they say the fight is not over.
A 6pm rally will take place tonight outside Vestas, as it has done every other night during the occupation.
Another rally and march have been organised for tomorrow (Saturday) from 1pm in St Thomas’ Square, Newport.
Workers leaving the site today are urging Islanders to join them on the march to show their support for the job losses.
In addition, those camping on the roundabout say that they are there to stay until a more positive outcome is reached for the workers.
There are calls for the Government to nationalise the plant or for a compulsary purchase of the site (as Vestas say they have no intention of selling the building).
