Once the march had arrived outside Vestas, there was the now-regular announcement of the days events.
As is made clear from the address from the Vestas employees, morale is staying high inside, but the Vestas share price has dropped 6.5% since the protest started.
The message from those inside at the sit-in was that it took fours hours and four phone calls to the Vestas management to have food delivered to them this morning.
It was made up of salmon paste sandwiches, pears, cereal bars and cans of fizzy drink.
Hot meal requested
The focus of support is now to get Vestas to provide them a hot meal to give them a more balanced diet.
To this end, the Job Centre files have been gathered by the protesters and place within the back door. In exchange they’d like a hot meal.
When this was heard, the chant of “One Hot Meal!” started in the crowd.
After a short break to allow the TV report to go out live, other speakers took to the mic, which we recorded and will publish later.
