Visioneca Festival of Experimental Film: Day Two

Yesterday saw a great start to the Visioneca Festival of Experimental Film, with an afternoon and evening packed with inspiring and interesting short films being screened.

Today’s programme is slightly different, made up of a series of talks and screenings from those in the industry.

Arrive from 10am for coffee and preview of installations.

From 11am there will be screenings and talk including new world from Arts University College Bournemouth.

Judith Noble will be speaking on Meya Deren and Kenneth Anger and Sandra Gaudenzi will be talking about iDocs.

Screenings and talks continue after lunch
After a break for lunch, from 2pm there’ll be screenings and talks including Liam Birtles on Glowing Pathfinder Bugs and Simon Poole on Mediated Flesh.

From 3.30pm to 5pm there’ll be more screenings and talks with Frank Krassner, Peter Purg and Kickit Visuosonics.

Tickets
The cost is just £5 per day or £2 per session.

Students and over 65s £3 per day or £1 per session and under 16s are free.

It all takes place at Freshwater Bay House Hotel.
